Who is Ilona?

I asked my friend to write this one for me. Here’s how she described me:

“Ilona is the type of person you meet and think, why didn’t I find her earlier in life?” 

Her genuine and unconditional love for people drives her to help everyone she meets by any means at her disposal. Ilona made her career as a logistics executive for top U.S. tech companies – logic is her specialty.  She possesses a unique combination of being compassionate and levelheaded. Her ability to assess difficult situations clearly and find solutions is second to none.

Ilona has been helping everyone around her for decades. Her kindness has guided many of her friends (and strangers alike) through dark times – all because she cannot stand to watch people suffer. You cannot help but love Ilona. Consider yourself lucky if you get to know her.

Why would I want to talk to a stranger?

Sometimes, it’s easier to talk to someone who doesn’t know you, someone who will not judge you and will not analyze your life. It can be just a one-time conversation or an as-needed occurrence if you’d like to come back when you need to have someone listen. It is easier to open up in front of a stranger as there is no history involved.  A friendly face, a safe environment, privacy and a person who will listen, understand, and never judge. 

Are you a therapist?

I do not have a degree in therapy, psychology, or psychiatry. However, I have helped hundreds of people for decades by providing advice and support.

How are the sessions conducted?

I don’t really call it a session, it’s a conversation where you talk, and I listen, just listen. We can cover any topics you want, from work issues to personal issues. The topic is yours to choose. If you want to run a few business ideas, feel free to do so. If you’d like to tell me what a dick your boss is, go for it, unload it, I’m here to listen. The topic is yours to choose. 

How much do you charge?

The rates are $100 an hour – rates are flexible based on your circumstances.

What type of payment do you accept?

I accept Venmo and PayPal.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

Most sessions can be done easily over Zoom. However, for certain clients who prefer to meet in person, that option is available.
